In the past weeks, there has already been noticeable slowdowns and an increase in delayed and missing packages. I know it is stressful to see your package not be scanned for several days or being marked as ‘delivered’ then actually being delivered days later, but unfortunately that is the ~Holiday Mail Experience~ TM

Once I hand your package off to USPS it is both literally and figuratively out of my hands. I will do my best to assist if you have an issue, but often the best solution is waiting it out for a little bit and things usually pop up.

Please be patient with customer service reps, small businesses, artists, your local mail carrier, etc. Generally these systems and people are overwhelmed and doing their best at this time of year and will appreciate your kindness and understanding. If things do go awry, I know receiving packages late can be dissappointing to you and the recipient, but try to reframe it as a fun January surprise! You can also use my mom's patented late present technique of putting a photo of the item in an envelope or box and letting the recipient open that so they know it's on the way!

Thank you for your patience when dealing with customer service reps, small businesses, artists, your local mail carrier, etc. leading up to the holiday. These people and systems are overwhelmed and doing their best at this time of year and will appreciate your kindness and understanding.
